Upper Valley Funders Share Insights on ECE

The Upper Valley Funders Forum regularly convenes members of the region’s philanthropic sector to share ideas and insights. The Couch Family Foundation recently hosted a gathering of the Upper Valley Funders Forum (UVFF) at the Hypertherm and Couch Family Foundation Office in Lebanon.
Foundation trustee Barbara Couch moderated a panel discussion and Q&A session on early care and education in the Upper Valley.
Panelists included Amy Brooks, executive director, Early Care and Education Association; Christina D’Allesandro, director of early childhood and family supports, NH Charitable Foundation; Joanne Roberts, early childhood education initiative consultant, Vital Communities; and Sara Vecchiotti, executive director, Couch Family Foundation.
Attendees learned how local leaders are addressing ECE in the Upper Valley and across the Granite State to increase access to affordable, high-quality early care and education opportunities that enhance children’s learning and growth.
