We are excited to announce that Becky Whitley and Ashley Stockwell have joined the Couch Family Foundation team.

Welcome to the team, Becky and Ashley!

Becky Whitley as Program Partner, Early Care & Education Systems will lead the Foundation’s efforts to strengthen coordinated systems to equip ECE programs and providers with the resources and tools required to promote children’s learning and development through high-quality programming and with a well-prepared and compensated ECE workforce. Becky has dedicated her career to public service as a disability rights attorney, climate organizer, child and health policy specialist, and lawmaker. As a former New Hampshire State Senator, she worked across party lines to strengthen New Hampshire’s ECE system, to help families get the healthcare and support they need, and address food insecurity. Becky has received multiple Legislator and Advocate of the Year awards from organizations including the NH Food Access Coalition, New Futures, NAMI NH, and the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities. She received a BBA from The George Washington University and a JD from Vermont Law School.

Ashley Stockwell, MPH as Program Partner, Healthy & Vibrant Communities will lead the Foundation’s efforts to enhance the well-being of children, families and the greater community within the cherished communities of the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont and Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts. She is excited to return to the Upper Valley after over a decade of public health work in Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Couch Family Foundation, Ashley served as the Director of the Blue Hills Community Health Alliance, where she was able to implement various grant programs and lead regional collective impact projects. Ashley completed a BA in both Community Health and Anthropology from Brown University, an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
