Brooke is the Managing Director of the Couch Family Foundation, where she leads the Foundation’s strategic direction with a focus on strengthening early care and education systems.
Previously, she led early care and education policy and advocacy at United Way for Greater Austin, including Early Matters Greater Austin, and helped design and lead the successful Affordable Childcare Now campaign in Travis County. Brooke co-chairs the Central Texas Asset Funders Network Steering Committee and is the immediate past-chair of the Women’s Fund at the Austin Community Foundation. Brooke has been appointed to the City of Austin’s Early Childhood Council and Travis County’s Community Advisory Committee for Raising Travis County. She holds a BA from Colgate University and an MPA from New York University. Originally from the Upper Valley of New Hampshire, Brooke moved to Austin, TX, 10 years ago with her husband and two daughters.
