City Year’s Lifetime of Service award honors Dick and Barbara Couch
We are proud to share that Dick and Barbara Couch, Trustees of the Couch Family Foundation, will be honored with a Lifetime of Service award by City Year New Hampshire at the organization’s annual Starry Starry Night gala on April 18 in Manchester.
City Year recognizes the Couches’ wide-reaching impact in New Hampshire through their founding and stewardship of Hypertherm and their philanthropic efforts in support of young children and youth.
“Dick and Barbara Couch are deeply admired in the Granite State not only for what they have built, but for how they have led — with a steady commitment to people, shared success, and the well-being of children and families,” said Pawn Nitichan, Executive Director of City Year New Hampshire. “Their longstanding dedication to supporting children, especially in the earliest years, reflects a belief that strong communities are built through opportunity, care, and responsibility. Their leadership has inspired communities across New Hampshire and beyond, and we are truly honored to recognize their impact at this year’s Starry Starry Night.”
The annual gala brings together business and community leaders to celebrate and support the work of City Year AmeriCorps members serving in New Hampshire schools. Learn more about City Year’s impact at cityyear.org/nh.
